There is art work on the walls of pretty much every hotel. In 2017 while staying at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast, we noticed that the art was of a different quality. There was hanging in the wide lobby a work that looked very much like one from Ibrahim Mahama. There was also another large bright yellow intriguing piece made of crudely cut pieces of plastic. This was the first encounter with Serge Attukwei Clottey‘s practice.
