As a visual artist, Temitayo Ogunbiyi works with a range of media whose possibilities and distortions she explores through installation, sculpture, collage, and drawing. As an artist living between two continents, Ogunbiyi feels it is essential thing is to produce a work that is always connected to the place of creation. From 2016, she focused her practice on drawing, focusing on the mixing of shapes by inventing unexpected fusions between Nigerian hairstyles with geometric lines and botanical elements inspired by old botanical illustrations.
